Fishing Report from TPWD (Jan. 15)

GOOD. Water normal stain; 53 degrees; 0.29 feet above pool. Catfish are good using punch bait in 20-25 feet of water. The Striped bass bite is getting better while dead sticking with flukes, or live bait in 30-45 feet of water. Crappie are good on small jigs and minnows in timber in 15-20 feet on the north end of the lake. White bass fishing is fair on flukes and slabs. Largemouth bass fishing is good around the docks.
