Fishing Report from TPWD (Dec. 31)

FAIR. Water normal stain; 57 degrees; 0.37 feet above pool. Catfish are good using punch bait in 20-25 feet of water. The striped bass bite has improved deadsticking with flukes in 30-45 feet of water. Crappie are good on small jigs and minnows in timber in 15-20 feet on the north end of the lake. White bass fishing is slow but some are being caught up the river on flukes and slabs. Largemouth bass are good around the docks. Report by Captain Cory Vinson, Guaranteed Guide Service.
