Walling Bend Park is located on the west shore at the lower end of the lake. From the dam take Texas 22 east 5 miles and turn right on Texas 56. Turn right again on FM 2841 which ends in the park. There are two-lane ramps, with no courtesy dock. There is parking and a restroom. You can also enjoy a picnic as they have picnic areas.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Feb. 19)

SLOW. Water normal stain; 55 degrees; 0.13 feet above pool. Expect all species to slow after the arctic freeze. Striped bass can be caught deadsticking flukes, or live bait in 30-45 feet of water. Crappie are good on small jigs and minnows in timber in 15-20 feet on the north end of the lake. White bass fishing is fair, some are being caught on flukes and slabs.
