Uncle Gus Marina and Resort is a family owned facility located on beautiful Lake Whitney in Texas and has been satisfying customers and guests for over 50 years. Lake Whitney has been known as the "Getaway Capital of Texas" for many years and Uncle Gus' is known for "Family Fun on Lake Whitney". We are a full service marina with one hundred and forty four (144) covered wet slips, sixty (60) dry storage units, a 20,000 sq foot boat showroom, two (2) public launch ramps, a fuel dock convenience store and a full service Yamaha, Mercury dealership for everything from a tune-up to a major overhaul. The Uncle Gus' Icehouse Bar and Captains Galley (Concession stand-Not sure I want to write restaurant but its not) viewing deck offers one of the greatest views of Lake Whitney while enjoying great food, drinks and entertainment. Fishing Report from TPWD (Apr. 2)

GOOD. Water normal stain; 60 degrees; 0.29 feet above pool. Fishing patterns continue to hold. Striped bass are good with live bait in 25-30 feet of water. Catfish are good using cut bait in shallow water. Crappie are beginning to move up the rivers in shallow water in preparation for spawning. White bass are good on slabs in 20-25 feet of water.
